Boys Golf Advances to State Championships
Springfield Catholic Boys Golf advanced to the State Championships with a 2nd place finish at the Class 2 District 3 Tournament. All five varsity boys golfers qualified for state. The District Championships were hosted at Payne Stewart Golf Club in Springfield, Missouri on May 8th, 2025. Willow Springs edged out Springfield Catholic for the Championship with a final score of 319. Springfield Catholic shot a 322 as a team. Stockton took 3rd in Class 2 District 3 with a 333.
Senior Jack Beykirch led the way with a 76 to take 3rd place overall. Jacody Westhoff (Fr) , Gavin Walker (So), Harper Elliott (Fr) and Ben Mulherin (Jr) followed with strong performances placing 5th, 10th, 13th and 23rd respectively.
The Class 3 State Championships will be hosted at Sedalia Country Club in Sedalia, MO May 19-20th, 2025.
