Springfield Catholic Junior Kyle Hathcock earned a second consecutive trip to the MSHSAA Class 3 State Championships with a 2nd place finish in the 3200m at the Class 3 Sectional 3 meet hosted at Buffalo High School May 16th, 2026.  Hathcock placed 6th at the MSHSAA State Championships in 2025.

Senior Max Clotfelter is also state bound with a 3rd place finish in pole vault at the sectional meet.

They will be joined by the boys' 4x800m relay team of Marcus Johnson, Gavin Pyck, John Paul Haik-Frick and Gabe Auzias de Turenne.  The 4x800 earned gold with a time of 8:16.83. 

The MSHSA Class 3 Championships will be hosted at Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, MO May 22nd-23rd, 2026.
