Bio
Gray is an alumnus of Springfield Catholic High School (class of 1979) who was a cross country and track standout (75-79) during his days in the Irish uniform.
He began teaching and coaching at Springfield Catholic High School in 1988 and restarted the cross country program in 1989 when he coached both the girls and boys programs until he was joined in the mid-1990's by our current girls' coach, Nick Russo. Since the late 1980's the program has won numerous district titles (both boys and girls) and several state trophies including 3 state titles (boys' in 1995 and 2015 and girls' in 2014).
