After a disappointing shooting performance in an opening-round loss to Houston (51-55), the Lady Irish rebounded with wins against Conway (53-41) and Dora (49-30) to take the Consolation bracket title in the 2023 Lady Lion Invitational hosted at Mansfield High School January 23rd -28th In the consolation final, Catholic pulled down 40 rebounds, including 26 off the offensive glass, to overcome a 30% shooting performance. Katie Galligos led the balanced scoring attack with 11 points, Peyton Wiseman and Lila Griesemer added 10 apiece and Olivia Swisshelm chipped in 8.
