Irish battle wind to claim Springfield Invitational
Cooper Tennis Complex—The Irish girls tennis team had a stong outing on Tuesday, bringing home first place in the annual Springfield Invitational. Catholic won the team title with 33.5 points, followed by Central with 27 points and Kickapoo third with 24.5.
Ashley Andrews and Claire Griesemer took second place in doubles and Cecilia Bailey and Erin Jarvis took fourth in doubles.
Anna Rader took first place in singles giving her a third straight singles title; fourth when you add in the doubles title she won as a freshman. Anna defeated Glendale's Brooke Smith 8-6.
