The Irish boys' soccer team hosted Fair Grove for the Class 2 District 11 championship on Thursday night. The Irish set the tone early and pressed the action against the Eagles. Zach Strauss broke the scoring at 5:23 with an assist from Kaueh Huttenlocher. In spite of multiple shots on goal, the score would remain 1-0 through the first period. 

The Irish would continue their assault in the second period compiling 17 shots on goal. Kaueh Huttenlocher would exchange the assiting/scoring role with Zack Strauss for the second goal of the night (59:02). Calvin Sanders would add the 3rd goal, assisted by Zack Strauss; and the final goal (78:26) would be added by Drake Rowe, assisted by Hunter Skornia. 

The Irish will move on to the MSHSAA championship bracket and will host Monett on Tuesday, October 24th.
